Stichophthalma louisa, 'Jungle Queen' , Wings Closed

REAL dead, dried, preserved specimen of Stichophthalma louisa, the 'Jungle Queen'. An awesome find! These are from a late 1990's butterfly collection! These used to be extremely popular in artwork, but were never easy to source and have only gotten harder to find. Because these are around 30 year sold they are listed as A1 to A-. Visually the wings appear near perfect, but there is some antennae damage.

Each butterfly may vary in size and coloration.

This butterfly ships unspread with wings folded closed.
