A beautiful and fairly large white butterfly closely related to the monarch family. Idea leuconoe is commonly known as the Rice Paper Butterfly and is native to tropical Southeast Asia. This is a large specimen, with wingspans typically 4 1/4" to 5".
All butterflies are natural specimens and therefor have natural variations in size and color.
