Morpho achilles, the blue-banded morpho, is a beautiful, large neo-tropical butterfly, with the shimmering blues that morphos are famous for, plus dark contrasting black bands on the wings. Similar to Morpho didius, but with large black bands on wings.
This morpho ships with wings open, professionally spread and mounted in a 8 ¼ x 6 ¼ glass front riker mount frame. This framing style is typically used in museum collections, and allows for the specimen to be easily displayed or even removed for placement in a different frame/shadowbox.
