A beautiful riker-framed, female Ornithoptera croesus lydius Birdwing Butterfly (Wallace Golden Birdwing). This specimen has a wingspan of just over 6 3/4 inches! Ornithoptera croesus lydius males are famous for their incredible gold and orange coloration, and the females are HUGE! From Halmahara Island, Indonesia 2004.
Riker frame does not have wall mount.
Condition-One antennae is dettached, prior pest damage was observed so this was freeze treated to prevent any possible ongoing damage.
