Riker framed Ornithoptera victoriae regis PAIR from Solomon Islands, 1973. Not only is this species incredibly scarce, but US law has prohibited the importation of Ornithoptera victoriae from the Solomon Islands since 1995, making it currently legal only to get from older collections. Male has a wingspan of 5 13/16".
DO NOT RISK buying from international sellers! These are highly protected species and can only cross international boundaries with US Fish and Wildlife inspections and CITES paperwork! A copy of the CITES papers can be provided if requested, but are not needed for sales within the USA.
