Morpho adonis is a medium sized butterfly with a brilliant blue metallic coloration. The verso side features amazing patterning in earth tones of brown, white, and orange. It is very similar to the well-know Blue Morpho (Morpho didius), but is slightly smaller and the wings are more shimmery/translucent.
Spread and unspread options available. Once spread they are EXTREMELY fragile, so all spread specimens are sold as A1- as damage may occur during shipping.
Note: Most morphos are sold without abdomens to prevent oil staining on the wings.
