The Split Banded Owlet Butterfly, ‘Opsiphanes cassina’, is also affectionately known as the 'mini owl'. It closely resembles its larger cousins, like Caligo memnon and Caligo eurilochus, but on a much smaller scale.
Butterfly is dried and preserved with wings folded closed.
