Wholesale lot of 10 or 50 Japanese beetles, perfect for artwork, entomology classes, jewelry, etc...! They have metallic green heads, and copper brown elytra.
Japanese beetles are an invasive and serious pest of flowers, shrubs, crops, turf, and trees. They have been spreading rapidly westward across the United States with drastically rising numbers. They also compete against monarchs by destroying milkweed plants.
The goal of this project is to find economical ways to control an invasive species, and help protect native vegetation! These have all been gathered (without the use of an chemicals or sprays) from a small farm used as a monarch stopover.
A great way to help conservation efforts and get some neat beetles!
