Framed Blue/Gold Owl Butterfly, Caligo beltrao

Riker framed Caligo beltrao, a seldom seen species of Owl Butterfly.  Caligo beltrao is known as the blue/gold owl and is one the most beautiful species of owls. This set of two is framed to show off both sides of this unusual species-the famous 'owl eye' side, as well as the incredible purple and gold side.

Unfortunately, mishandling has caused damage to the bottom specimen.
