Riker framed Ornithoptera euphorion, (sometimes designated Ornithoptera priamus euphorion), the Cairn's Birdwing is endemic to Austrialia. These are CITES protected species and Australia has very strict wildlife exporting laws, making this a very difficult species to find.
From Cooktown, Australia, 2000. Both specimens show damage.
DO NOT RISK buying from international sellers! These are highly protected species and can only cross international boundaries with US Fish and Wildlife inspections and CITES paperwork! A copy of the CITES papers can be provided if requested, but are not needed for sales within the USA.
This is from an older American collection, please see photos for condition. Riker mounts do not have wall hangers.
