EXTREMELY RARE! Ornithoptera chimaera PAIR Male and Female Real Birdwing Butterfly!

Extremely rare find! Seldom seen for sale Ornithoptera chimaera male and female pair. These were legally imported into the US from the IFTA in Papua New Guinea in 2000 and 2001.

Ornithoptera chimaera is a member of the highly sought after birdwings-one of the most collected groups of butterflies in the world.

These are the male and female pair. We have 2 pairs available, sadly both males have a detached antenna.  the antenna is whole and in the envelope. Wingspan measures approx. 5-6".  

Shipped unmounted, dried, with wings folded closed.
