DEATHS-HEAD MOTH Acherontia lachesis

The famous death head moth! Deathhead moths were made famous in 'Silence of the Lambs'.

This is a REAL SPECIMEN of Acherontia lachesis, a species of deaths-head native to SE Asia, they are unspread (wings are folded closed). 

NOTE: Most larger bodied moths get 'greasy' from the fats stores in their abdomens, grease stains can be removed with acetone or nail polish remover.
