The BIGGEST Owl butterfly out there! Caligo eurilochus is know as The Giant Owl, it is a large bodied (wingspan of over 4 1/2”) tropical butterfly with fantastic large ‘owl eyes’ on its wings. Native to Central and South America. A favorite among collectors and artists. Often mounted 'verso' or 'upside-down' to show off its eye spots.
