What a moth! Argema mittrei, the Madagascar Comet Moth is one of the most spectacular 'luna' moth species in the world. Both males and females are spectacular, the males have incredible tales, almost 9 inches long and the females are much stockier and wider with larger wings. Both have a wingspan of around 6 inches.
NOTE: With any large specimens there will be some size differences, all are BIG, but some may be slightly smaller or larger.
