Exact replica of an American Alligator Skull (Alligator mississippiensis), created from digitalized scanning done by RISD Nature and licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/) using a real alligator skull. Skull measures 7 ½" and was made using scans from an alligator believed to be approximately 3 years old.

The lower jaw is fused to the top portion of the skull, so the jaw will always be open.
