One of our favorite Charaxes species! While their underside is plain, the wings open reveal a beautiful 'starry night' pattern. The Blue Charaxes is a medium sized, heavy-bodied butterfly native to Africa.
Now with the option to come spread and mounted! Choose the spread/framed option and your specimen will come already with wings open and mounted in a 4 ½" x 5 ½" riker mount frame. Riker mounts allow you to enjoy your butterfly framed or take it out of the riker to use the butterfly for photographs (Just remember how fragile they are! It may cause legs, antennae, etc... to break off if you take the butterfly out).
Each butterfly may vary in size and coloration.
Unspread option will ship unmounted with wings folded closed.
